The second day of your journey starts with a visit to Pashupatinath Temple, a sacred site for both Hindus and Buddhists. Located along the Bagmati River, this temple complex is famous for its cremation ghats and spiritual rituals. While primarily a Hindu site, its significance for Buddhists is profound, offering you a unique insight into Nepal’s spiritual diversity. In the afternoon, you will visit Kopan Monastery, a Tibetan Buddhist center located on a hilltop north of Boudhanath. At Kopan, you can explore the serene grounds, visit the prayer hall, and gain a deeper understanding of Tibetan Buddhist teachings. After a peaceful day of reflection, return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

On your final day, you will journey outside of Kathmandu to visit the revered Namo Buddha Stupa, located about 40 km away. This sacred site is known for its association with a Buddhist story where Buddha is believed to have shown great compassion by offering his body to a starving tigress and her cubs. After spending time at the stupa, you will visit the nearby Tamang Buddhist Monastery, where you can learn more about the Tibetan Buddhist traditions. In the afternoon, you will return to Kathmandu, where you may have some free time for last-minute shopping or sightseeing. Depending on your flight schedule, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure.
